Jerry Perera

Jerry who joined Ananda in 1954 still retains fond memories of his school days and the support he received from the dedicated staff at the College. From Ananda he went on to acquire a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Ceylon in 1965. While in Sri Lanka he worked in the Dept. of Health and the CEB.

Jerry has been active in our Association as the Membership Secretary for 3 years and as the Treasurer in 2004 prior to being elected as the President. He was instrumental in setting up our website and is the editor of the Newsletter. His contribution to the association so far has been invaluable and I hope he would continue to make such valuable contributions for many years to come.

PS. Currently Jerry, a Chartered Engineer, is engaged in Software Consultancy work and also does part-time Tutoring. Jerry is married to Anoma and they have two sons, Saman & Priyanga.
